To provide a friendly environment for everyone to collaborate creatively together.
This code of conduct is to ensure that all who are participating in East Coast Creatives events; whether they are makeup artists, models, stylists or photographers, are aware of the appropriate guidelines to remain safe and enjoy networking with each other.
Please read as follows:
Mission statement: A friendly environment; promoting collaborative creativity.
We appreciate your interest in participating in ‘East Coast Creatives events. Please review the following Code of Conduct that governs our events and our expectations for all attendees.
Due to the safety of all attendees, those who do not comply with ECC’s Code of Conduct will be verbally addressed. If behaviour does not change, the attendee will be asked to leave and unable to attend future meets.
1) Admission is granted only to approved collaborators of East Coast Creatives (ECC), including any guests. Although we permit individuals aged 16 and above, any attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. This policy is in place to ensure the safeguarding of all attendees and to affirm that valid consent has been given for photography or participation at our events.
2) We implore all attendees to demonstrate respect and courtesy towards each other. Should there be any concerns regarding the behaviour of others, or indeed oneself, do not hesitate to consult with a team member. ECC maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards poor behaviour of any kind.
3) Outfits must conform to a standard of decency respectful of the venue. As such, nudity, semi-nudity, revealing clothes and/or offensive slogans are strictly prohibited.
4) Photographs taken at ECC events must not be used for commercial gain. Though such photographs can be shared on social media & portfolio use, it should be noted that copyright always remains with the photographer. Any usage beyond social media/portfolio requires the explicit permission of the photographer. All related posts should appropriately tag photographers, models, stylists, makeup artists, the venue, and ECC. In case of any confusion regarding tagging, feel free to consult with a team member or ask the relevant individual directly. ECC operates on a Time for Prints (TFP) basis, and all models should receive copies of their photographs. Stylists and MUAs may also request copies. Do not further edit any shared images, without the photographer’s specific permission.
5) Model release forms will not be employed at our monthly meets & by attending ‘given consent’ is assumed.
6) Behind-the-scenes photographs and videos will be taken throughout the event and featured on the ECC Instagram platform, website and/or Facebook page. If you wish not to appear in such content, please notify a team member. While we strive to respect all such requests, we can’t guarantee complete exclusion due to potential oversights.
7) Attendees are responsible for their personal equipment. ECC bears no responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal belongings. We advise keeping close tabs on your equipment and suggest having it insured.
8) Respect for the venues of our events is paramount. We ask that attendees avoid causing any damage and adhere to the safety instructions provided at the beginning of each event.
9) Admission to ECC events requires prior notification or ticket proof. All guests must receive approval from the ECC team. Refunds are sometimes possible with sufficient notice and/or given that your spot can be filled. Each attendee must have an individual ticket, and any additional guests require the ECC team’s prior approval.

It is common courtesy to give the respective models right or reply or refusal on any images or edits they feel do not represent them.

We trust that this Code of Conduct will help to foster an enjoyable, safe, and respectful environment for all attendees. We look forward to your cooperation and participation.
